Divas do the numbers

Flemings has the perfect lighting – enough to read your menu, but not too bright to ruin the atmosphere. Detail Diva was very pleased. The other Divas were relieved that she wasn’t going to make us change our seat or discuss lighting issues with the manager. Blissfully we settled in, eager to make our decisions from the Happy Hour Selections – 5 different cocktails, 5 choices of wine and 5 delightful appetizers, all at $6 and available from 5pm to 7pm, hence the Happy Hour Name: “5 for 6 til 7”. Get it? And, unlike many happy hours, it’s offered 7 days a week But here is the best part - Visit them Sunday or Monday and these prices are available all evening long not just til 7pm. So now you are in the know on where to go on a slow Sunday or Monday night !
Many happy hours serve well drinks but not here - Flemings after all - their cocktails are top shelf quality. Now that’s respect ! Don’t you just love that. Our daring diva dove right in to a Fleming’s Mojito with Bacardi Limon Rum with just the right amount of mint flavor and garnished with of course mint. Have you ever ordered one of those drinks that come with an entire plant ? She wished she had brought her garden clippers - Really now, what are they thinking? … Although the other cocktails did look tempting wine was the choice for the rest of us divas, and we were not disappointed with their happy hour wine list – all well known wineries and all delightful!
To the appetizers! Tenderloin Capaccio with creole Mustard sauce, Sweet Chili Calamari, Wicked Cajun Barbecue Shrimp, Seared Ahi Tuna with a spicy mustard sauce and Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes with red pepper sauce. Now, we’d like to tell you what we would recommend but we all had our favorites. So, you need to either go with a big appetite or with 4 other friends so you can taste one of each!
It’s definitely one of the best deals in town without compromising quality !
