Divas do Sushi

Last minute decisions led the Divas to make a quick choice. We were driving our
separate vehicles, having come from a hectic day of appointments, showings, and inspections. Ravished, thirsty and in need of delicious, healthy cuisine, Brilliant Diva's light bulb lit and we convened at.....KAZU'S SUSHI & ASIAN BISTRO.

A small intimate bistro it is, all of the tables were filled. We took this as a positive omen as we perused the menu. The prices fit our criteria, the choices were divine. Worlds collided again....all at this gem on Siesta Drive. 'Bistro' is not just defined as a French restaurant; 'tapas' can be served in an Asian fare, sushi by the names of Hemingway, Philly, Siesta, John Lennon, and Dynamite.
Well, dynOmite, yes it is. This is an Asian Restaurant with an edge.

The edge comes by way of the owners, husband and wife, Kazu and Akiko, chef, musician, world travelers, and parents to daughter Ellie. Kazu attended Berklee College of Music, studying jazz piano. This led him to performing at the Summerhouse Restaurant and the Gator Club to name a few. Akiko went into the travel agency business after graduating from college in Japan. A stint as the head sushi chef at Pacific Rim for Kazu and the foresightedness of Akiko led them to open Kazu's Bistro.

Our order to go was a wide assortment, you cannot go wrong. 'The Bento Box' is a vision and a treat for your palate. The sushi is the best in town. We convened at Detail Diva's home. A wonderful oasis that has been the focus of previous Diva blogs. Wine was poured, toasts were given, divas divulged with each tasty morsel.
